Côte sought a brand identity that captured the effortless elegance of coastal living while emphasizing its dedication to eco-friendly materials and responsible production practices. The brand needed to feel both elevated and approachable, with a design that would stand out in a competitive swimwear market. The brand’s visual identity centers around a navy, sage green, and beige color palette, inspired by natural coastal landscapes. These colors convey warmth, tranquility, and sophistication, while remaining grounded in sustainability. The logo was designed using Canela, a serif typeface that evokes a sense of elegance and timelessness. To add a unique touch, I incorporated a wave accent over the "O", subtly symbolizing the ocean’s flow and Côte’s connection to the coast. The accompanying Inter Light font was chosen for its clean lines and modern feel, enhancing the brand’s minimal aesthetic. Photography plays a key role in conveying the brand’s ethos. I opted for a minimalist photography style with light, airy compositions. Models were captured in natural, tranquil settings, often with soft lighting, to reflect the effortless and serene spirit of Côte’s swimwear. The final result is a brand identity that captures Côte’s essence — a luxurious yet approachable swimwear line, built with care for the planet. The minimalist design, combined with the earthy, coastal-inspired color palette, effectively conveys the brand’s mission: Where coast meets conscious. This project allowed me to explore a fusion of editorial design with sustainability, creating a cohesive brand identity that stands out in the competitive swimwear market while staying true to Côte’s values.
